Yesterday was a huge day for me: it was my one-year anniversary on "Sparkpeople", a website to track food/excercise, etc. It also marked my hitting the 80-pounds lost mark. I'm feeling pretty optimistic right now. It feels like I started just a few months ago, yet it's been an entire year since I changed my life.
In other news, I bought a Rebel XSi as a graduation gift to myself (a few months ago). I love my camera so much: I bring it with me where ever I go. I recently purchased a used Telephoto Zoom Lens. It was a pretty low-end model, but I wanted one to take photos at the zoo in August.
I'm starting to plan my trip to Japan with my sister and my friend, Meru. Can't wait: we're going next year!
Now all this graduate needs is a job for everything to be perfecto-mumdo! Two months and no luck, but I'm hoping I'll have better news on that front next month.

I love Autumn
It's that time of the year again, the leafs are orange and cold is creeping out. I wish I could say that I've had the time to enjoy it, but I'm at the end of a compressed semester at school. Going through 15 weeks worth of classes into 10 has proven to be quite difficult. I haven't stopped to smell the roses since I started. With two weeks left (this one included), I'm really looking forward to starting my second co-op. I need a breather!
I've continued to lose a lot of weight. I'm really proud of myself. That makes about 36 pounds since last year (23 since July). My ankle has healed but I'm still walking on eggshells, so to speak. I don't w
Ow
I haven't updated this thing in a while. I had a really busy semester and spent all summer working fulltime as a web coder for the government. It was a lot of fun!
I mentioned last summer that I was going to start eating healthier and working out. So far so good. I've kept an active lifestyle and I eat really well (I've lost 20 pounds since last summer, yay!). I started doing some weight training, but I guess I pushed myself too hard. I strained some muscle in my foot (according to the doctor) and have to take it easy for a few days. It hurts a bit when I walk, but it buuurns when I don't.
Hopefully I'll be back on my feet and resuming my e
Vacation
As of last Friday, I have been on vacation! It's been so great to be able to relax a bit and actually sleep in.
For some reason, around the holidays I always feel like watching old Disney movies (and have been doing so). Next year, I'm guessing my VCR will no longer be around to play them. Ah, the sad fate of technology.
I had quite the adventure trying to prepare cookies today. Among other things, I made chocolate rain down on my floor because my spatula went a little crazy. I tried to finish dipping the cookies in the chocolate before my cat would come over. The last thing I needed was Dash walking over a floor of chocolate because I didn
End of semester
Ahhhghhh, I'm dying here under so many projects!
But I am making an entry because last week, Chrono Trigger for the Nintendo DS came out and it is AWESOME.
It is my all time favorite game...and it is wonderful!
